These Maple Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies are soft, chewy, and filled with rich maple flavor in every bite. The maple butter adds a warm, caramel-like sweetness that pairs perfectly with the melted chocolate chips, making each cookie taste like a cozy fall hug. This was my first time trying maple butter (thank you, Trader Joe’s!), and I was so surprised by how delicious it made the cookies.

This week flew by so fast — I can’t believe Halloween is today! 🎃 My son is so excited to wear his Ghostbusters costume for the school parade, and I can already feel the magic of the holidays coming. Time really does fly — before we know it, Christmas will be here (and yes, I’m already planning my Christmas cookie box!).
But for now… let’s talk about these Maple Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies.
This is my first time trying maple butter, which I found at Trader Joe’s, and it’s honestly so good! It adds a cozy, caramel-like flavor that makes these cookies soft, gooey, and perfectly sweet without being too much.
Let’s Take a Peek
As always, I started by browning the butter — it’s my little baking ritual. That nutty aroma fills the kitchen and instantly makes everything feel warm and homey.
For the texture, I like my cookies a bit flatter and chewy, so halfway through baking, I gently tapped the tray against the counter. It helps them spread out just enough while keeping the edges crisp and the center soft and gooey.
Once the dough came together, I decided to drizzle a bit of maple glaze on top after baking, just to give it that extra touch of sweetness and shine.
These cookies are simple, cozy, and perfectly fall — a little golden bite of maple goodness
